Our approach at LUX is much different than the way real estate has been bought and sold here in Maine for more than 40 years. Most people know several Realtors, and they all conduct business the same way. They have to. They belong to large agencies with guidelines they must follow. Here at LUX, we are all about choices. Your choices. Other agencies follow a cookie-cutter approach. Here, every journey is different. When you understand your choices you make decisions, and we create your plan. We work the plan and you get auspicious results.
Prior to real estate brokerage I spent 20+ years in the corporate world as a "tea-sipper", creating relationships and negotiating deals for some of the biggest entities out there. Over the last 15 years I have also been renovating Maine homes for myself and my clients. It's this group of friends that encouraged me to get my real estate license, while taking me to showings as their contractor, and/or getting their homes ready to sell. Real Estate has always been a natural fit with me.
I offer my real estate brokerage services to the selling side of this business. My specialty is seniors, trusts and estates and corporate holdings. Helping seniors, families and companies divest assets for the best possible outcome and the least amount of stress is very rewarding. I've become a very good cribbage player. Just remember, it doesn't matter if your property is a cabin in the woods, a family farm, or an estate on the ocean. Your journey is unique, and so are your choices.
On top of having a unique approach to real estate brokerage, I incorporate my 30+ years of being a private pilot and my 15+ years of renovating Maine homes into my real estate practice, which offers you more ways to get your property ready to market and sell, and to look for another home with a remodeler's eye.
